Birthdays -

I missed at least three birthdays recently.

Happy belated birthday to kimberlyfdr, knowledgeable about all things Starsky & Hutch and Stargate Atlantis. If you want to read or watch a good GLBT book or movie, she can probably tell you what to look for (thanks again for reccing "Big Eden"). And if you get a yen for MPreg fic, she can direct you there, as well, plus her lj is just fun and interesting to read.

Happy belated birthday to geekmama who regales us with pirate stories and drabbles as well as interesting tidbits about her day-to-day life. She has excellent taste in poetry (George Herbert! John Masefield!) and in flowers (Queen Anne's Lace) and can tell you about Disneyland and good cooking as well. (I'm sure I'm leaving out all kinds of good things - I'm sorry!)

Finally, happy belated birthday to kadymae. If you want to know about the world of comics, she's the go-to person. Check out Sequential Tart online; there's a new issue weekly. (I fail at embedding links.) Kady is opinionated in the best way - by that, I mean that she actually reads and thinks and forms real opinions, doesn't just repeat whatever conventional wisdom is popular at the moment. When she gives an opinion, whether you agree with her or not, you can be certain that it is well-thought out, well-reasoned, articulate, and based on something substantial.
