I think I actually posted this link a couple of years ago, but I just saw this video again tonight and am once again amazed by it. It's a 40th anniversary tribute to Star Trek and I think it's just stunning.

- today we lit the candle of joy. I always wonder why this candle is pink and the other three purple. Must go look that up one of these days.

Pastor Susan's husband was at church today (he's also a UCC minister and is doing pulpit supply at another chuch, which meets earlier than hers) and introduced himself to me afterwards, saying he didn't think we'd met. That was funny - we actually have, more than once. However, it's always been in a crowd of people so probably easy to forget meeting one individual among them. I laughed and told him I probably should've introduced myself as "Adam's Aunt" and then he'd have recognized me. And when I said that, he did. *g*

I'm always amazed at the choir, which is very good. There are only eight choir members, but they sound better than some choirs I've heard at three or four times their size. Today they sang something out of Handel's Messiah and did an excellent job. They must have a very good choir director. (Not to mention at least one tenor who could carry the entire choir if he had too.) I was impressed.

I've had three days off work and it's not long enough. It's never long enough! *sigh*

I just found this on Friday and have been busy all weekend saving videos from you tube. http://keepvid.com/ It's a little program that - well, it lets you download you tube videos in three easy steps. (Copy, paste, download to destination.) I wish I'd heard of it ages ago, since vids have a habit of disappearing....
