NaNoWriMo

I did it last year (though that book became a monster and I haven't finished editing it yet) and fully intended to do it again this year. It's 6:35 on November 1 and I still haven't made up my mind! I'm recently and suddenly unemployed (more on that in another post) so I definitely have the time, but I don't actually have the inclination. I could use the excuse that I need to spend that time finding a job, but there's only so much time you can spend in a day sending out resumes. The lack of enthusiasm is recent - and not related to losing my job, since that was actually a huge relief, even if I didn't have control over the time as I was hoping I would. In any case, I did announce my novel, so at least that's done! Anyone else participating?

I was going to post my badge for completing NaNoWriMo in 2016 here but I can't find it. Do they go away? I'm probably looking in the wrong spot....
