It's Photobucket. I even remembered my password - go me! And actually, it looks like I only have 2 weeks of photos, not quite as many as I remembered. I believe there are a few more on my camera, but it seems to be dead - at least I can't take photos anymore. I might hook it up to the computer to seek if I can access what's still on there.
I'll do one week each in two posts. Here's January 1 through January 7, behind the cut:

This is the front of our house on New Year's Day. My uncle still needs to finish the siding, but the house is sound, the roof is good, and the inside is completely renovated. Very nice. (This was my great-grandparents' house, which my uncle bought from Grams and raised his family in. They moved into a condo in South Bend and we're renting from them. We moved in on October 2 - Irish's birthday.)

Looking north up our street - notice the complete lack of snow. We live near the edge of town. The red buildings are a foundry called Bremen Castings. It's been there forever, I think! There's a railroad track on the other side of it, and then you're headed north out of town. (1-2-11)

We decorate for Christmas in our office. This is a corner of my ledge. The past few years, I've done the entire ledge, but this year I did several small tableaus instead. I participated in the Secret Santa for three years (sat out this year, though), which is how I got a lot of my Christmas decorations for work. (1-3-11)

Almost every day on the way to work, I see trucks carrying modular homes (in halves) down the highway to - somewhere. I don't know where! This is half a house. (1-4-11)

I need to figure out how to rotate my pictures! I think it's probably a simple matter in Photobucket of just rotating and saving as a new photo. Once I figure it out, I'll repost this. This is the old Bremen water tower. It was built in 1882 and used till 1955. There was talk of tearing it down in the mid-20th centur but it was made a historic landmark in 1975, so now it can't be. That crown on the top is a crown of lights, which can be seen from a distance at night. When I was little, I always knew we were getting close to Gramma and Grampa's when we could see the crown. Now I look for it any time I'm driving home at night and from the landing window each night before I go to bed. My middle sister lives just a few blocks from it. (1-5-11)

Looking at the car from the porch. The first snow of 2011! (1-6-11)

Looking out my boss's window at work. That's the College Football Hall of Fame. It's moving to Atlanta, which is too bad for South Bend. Unfortunately, the Hall of Fame didn't attract nearly as many visitors as it was expected to when it moved to South Bend, so it's going away. (1-7-11)
