Sue. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, I think the majority of white American girl babies were given the middle names of Lynn, Sue, Ann(e), and Marie. They're all perfectly good names and I think they make fine first names, but as middle names they strike me as unimaginative placeholders. Still, Sue is a good name and it's also my mom's middle name and my oldest maternal cousin's middle name, so I like it.
3. Do you still talk to the first person you kissed?
Ah, Chris V. I was 10, he was 7. I don't think it was much to write home about as far as kisses go - barely a peck. No, we moved away the next summer and I've never seen him since. I do wonder what grown-up Chris is like once in a blue moon.
