I was tagged for this one a little while ago by ozma914 and am finally getting a chance to do it.

cbtreks is the name I chose when I first got online back in 1995. I started with AOL and I actually wanted some combination of my real name. It's not a common name - I don't think "Colleen" has ever been in the top 10 list of girl's names, and my last name was even more uncommon. (Not unheard of by any means, but not common. There's not one listing under that name in Las Vegas. In the Detroit area, a majority of those listed are my relatives.) Imagine my surprise when every combination I tried was already taken! I'm still wondering who the other person sharing my name is - googling doesn't turn up anything. So I decided to use some kind of name that referred to Star Trek, my favorite tv show and first fandom, and cbtreks was born.
