"Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance"

And I think that means that if I want to be at church on time on Sunday, I need to get ready on Saturday! Sunday was the second Sunday of Advent - we lit the peace candle - and at least this week I showed up before the choir sang. Last week, it was during. I'm hoping for on time from now on.

That would be, btw, my on time - that is, 11:00, when service starts. Not my dad's on time, which meant at least 10 minutes early. Poor dad, he tried to instill that into each one of us and I don't think he succeeded with any of us. Not his fault. We all fail at the "on time means at least 10 minutes early" thing. *sigh* Though I know it would make my life, at least, easier.

Hey, maybe that's a good new year's resolution. I don't usually make them, but I think I can handle "attempt to be 10 minutes early to everything."
