Left work about 12:30, went and exchanged the wrong-sized bipap mask for the right one, then met S. for lunch at a new Thai place. Very good! It used to be a really good hole-in-the-wall Chinese buffet, then became a mediocre hole-in-the-wall Chinese buffet (same owners, same dishes, but after 10+ years the quality slumped badly). Now it's a hole-in-the wall Thai place with new owners and really good food. Went and tooled around a bit in Office Depot and Hancock Fabrics, came home, read, got on line, now am listening to music and waiting for Ugly Betty. I like afternoons like this. I'd have seen a movie somewhere in there if there were more out that I want to see. Waiting to see 2012 (what? I like disaster movies!) with Irish, maybe tomorrow.
Star Trek was "A Private Little War." It has Doctor M'Benga! What a cool character - I kind of wish they'd done more with him.
Also, if Leo Sayer was trying to make it as a singer today, I don't think he'd be allowed to be - he doesn't fit the required image. Actually, I think in the music industry today, looks are more important than talent.
