Just finished episode 7. I'm not going to be a Rory fan. So far I don't see the point of him - he and Amy have no chemistry and she didn't convince me that he's the one she really wants. Yes, in the dream world she did, but back in reality - she wasn't selling it. It could be just because she and the Doctor have so much chemistry that any other relationship she's in seems just - I don't know. Flat. Ho-hum. I don't necessarily mean that I think she and the Doctor should have a romantic or sexual relationship - I'm not sure that would work, really. But what they do have is so real and vibrant that what she has with Rory just seems - yawn. (Or maybe it really is Rory - so far, there's not much about the character I like. Nothing I dislike. He just doesn't impress me one way or the other.)

The aliens disguised as old folks were very cool, though!

This morning I had what was probably the weirdest dream of my life. I befriended this woman - I think we were in Las Vegas again - and eventually she invited me to her house to visit. She was married and it took several visits before I met her husband because he was very private and withdrawn, didn't like meeting people. He mostly stayed in his study and researched conspiracy theories, alternating with bouts of extreme housecleaning (he suffered from OCD). Not such a weird dream, right? Except it took place this year and her husband was Pat Tillman. Which might make a modicum of sense, maybe, possibly, if I had this dream 8 or 9 years ago or had been reading a lot about him, or something - but I can't remember the last time I read or heard anything about Pat Tillman. (I do recall that it was an online article about his family trying to uncover more about his death and it was before we moved to this house, so before last October, anyway.)

The subconscious mind is a very strange thing.
