I don't and Irish hasn't smoke in a year and a half (since he was put in the hospital with pneumonia right before Christmas 2018 - it was touch and go for a bit). Today I pulled out a painted flower pot that's been sitting empty in our front closet for a couple years so I can use it to store a bunch of multiple colored homeless Sharpies I sometimes use for coloring pages. It was nicotine stained even though it's been 18 months since there was a smoker in our house and it had been put away. Yuck. All this yellow-brown gunk after all this time. Can you imagine what that is like in your lungs? I'm glad Irish isn't a smoker any longer. I shudder to think what other unused objects are in my cupboards or closets that might be nicotine-stained after all this time and I didn't even know. (I thought about taking a couple photos, but I'll spare you!)
