This looks like fun! I have a few days to catch up on.
1. What Hogwarts house would you be sorted into?
I enjoyed the movies but never read all the books and never really thought about what house I would be in, so I took a quiz (not the Pottermore one because I didn't want to register). I came out 38% Hufflepuff, 27% Ravenclaw, 27% Gryffindor, and 8% Slytherin. I don't know what that says about me. (Also, would such close numbers in 3 houses give the Sorting Hat fits?)
2. What is the first historical event you clearly remember?
I very clearly remember watching Robert Kennedy's funeral on tv (I was nearly 5) and asking my mom "whose are all those kids!?" I didn't realize until years later whose funeral I'd seen. (I was 6 when the first moon landing happened and 51 years later I'm still peeved that I don't remember it. Mom tells me it was well past my bedtime and I probably fell asleep. I do remember reading about it in My Weekly Reader in 1st grade that fall.)
3. What part of elementary/primary school would you like to incorporate into your adult life?
None of it! Why would anyone want to? I was bored a lot and would get in trouble for daydreaming and for reading books under my desk (yet I still always got good grades, except in math where I was pretty average). I did love to swing. I would go to the local playground and swing now except that I'm heavy enough to be concerned that the chains wouldn't hold my weight and as high as I always loved to go, that would probably be fatal!
4. If you could eliminate one thing that you did every day, what would it be?
Taking any kind of medication, even over the counter. I'd rather not need any of it, even naproxin for normal middle-aged aches and pains.
5. Your rescue team in the coming zombie apocalypse is the cast of the last television show you watched. How screwed are you?
I'm finishing up a rewatch of Star Trek: The Next Generation. I'm good. (Although that actually says cast, not characters, so maybe I'm not so good. Then again - Patrick Stewart!)
