When I looked out the window first thing this morning, I saw no snow. When I came downstairs and looked out the window I saw that there was snow on the street but not on the grass. Thirty minutes later, there was a light dusting of snow everywhere. It was snowing consistently but so lightly that I didn't even see it coming down (though that's probably partly due to the house next door being white and the sky being white and those are the two things I see the most of when I look out the windows while at my desk). It's still coming down but still so lightly that you can't see it unless you look at something dark and even then it's not very noticeable.

Usually I like a snowy winter but this year I don't even want it. It feels so weird to me to even think that way and I hope I'm back to normal next winter. (It's even weirder since I'm still working from home and don't need to go out for much, so snow right now isn't even an inconvenience.) When I see photos of snowy winter scenes I still think they're beautiful but I wouldn't want to be there. My love for snow - one more thing that's a casualty of 2020 - hopefully a temporary one. Not dead, just in a coma!
