Heh. Is that a compliment or not?

Anyway, I used a few paragraphs out of a YA novel for which I wrote part of the first chapter and then didn't have a clue what was going to happen next and haven't gone back to. It's about a 14 year old girl from a ren rat family. I don't think it's very good but it was still fun to do. Here's the excerpt I used.
