Far too long since I've been here - I finally got caught up reading today (with much skippage, unfortunately). Since I posted last, I graduated from school (Associate's Degree - now contemplating finishing my Bachelor's degree on line), began a new job, actually got sought out for a different job - how's that for a nice bit of egoboo! - quit the new job and began working for the people that hunted me down. (They're nicer, and they pay much better with better benefits to boot. What kind of phrase is "to boot", anyway? I wonder what the history of that one is.) I'm still not on-line at home - there's a long, tedious story not worth going into - but at least here I can get on line at lunch or before or after work.

Still no car. *sigh* That should change next month - fingers crossed!

Other than that, nothing too exciting. I haven't been doing anything fannish - not even writing. ConStrict is coming up next month, though, and I'm looking forward to it. I've been the past two years and had a good time. Sian puts on a great convention!

DH and I finally saw the latest Star Wars last Saturday. I'd been wanting to see it since the credits rolled on the previous movie, but I didn't want to wait in a long line this time, so we put it off for a few weeks.

A little bit spoilery, so behind a cut:

Am I the only one who remembers way back when, when Return of the Jedi was done and George Lucas talked about doing six more movies - a prequel trilogy and a sequel trilogy? The only thing I heard about it when TPM was being made was that he'd changed his mind about the third trilogy. This time around, no-one's mentioned it at all. I sort of wish he would make them but I guess they're not really necessary to the story, not like the prequels. Still would be nice to have a trilogy of trilogies, though.
