[livejournal.com profile] nwhepcat posted this morning about a game going around Twitter called "Nicer Film Titles" - changing a movie title with a disturbing element to something more pleasant. (BTW, you should see hers - very funny! My favorite is her Buffy redo.)

Here are some of mine:

Star Trek: The Mild Annoyance of Khan
Star Wars: The Empire Leaves a Peevish Note
The Hills Have Some Really Nice People Living There
Picture Mommy Cooking Dinner
Harry Potter and the Really Pretty Stone He Picked Up on the Beach Last Saturday
Crab Legs and Bread Pudding in Las Vegas
Indiana Jones and the Last Trip to Cedar Point This Summer
Drag Me to the Stupid Mall
The Picnic in Connecticut
Zack and Miri Make a Lovely Little Christmas Movie

I think that's it for today but my subconscious keeps working at this one - no guarantees there won't be more tomorrow or the next day.

Recently I went to the Farmer's Mark on a Friday because I hadn't brought lunch, was tired of the stuff downtown, and remembered that there was some sort of Asian food booth there. I got there, found out it was Thai/Lao - and it was closed. (So I ended up getting the best cold sandwich I've ever had at an Italian deli booth that was new to me.) Before I left to find another food booth, I took a look at the menu.

They sell "cheese wantons".

I think perhaps I'm a cheese wanton - heaven knows I enjoy cheese to what is probably an inappropriate degree and consume it frequently.

How would you define a cheese wanton?
